Family Album 2011
 

Baby Miles, son of Coral Rose and Derek Van Dusen,
brother of Evelyn,
passed away peacefully on April 7,
His name was inspired by his many smiles.
Miles was four months old.
He will be dearly missed.

We had an intense hail storm on April 10.

Thank goodness for the carport.
Jon's new business card has his title as Code Monkey.
They encourage fun in the workplace.

Mother passed away on May 9th.

She will be missed by us all.
We have so many good memories.
We were so fortunate to have such a fine woman in our lives.

Love you forever Mom.

 

 

We made a photo video and a poster for Mother's service. She was a wonderful person. We are making up envelopes to send. This image will be included.

Dad selected the image in the oval to go on a porcelain insert on her marker stone. They don't recommend the inserts on groundstones, but it is a family tradition.

 

June 18

The poppies and irises are in bloom at the Lake.
The poppies increase in number every year.

The lupins are also in bloom.

 

We had another nice party for Dad at the Lake with all the sons and lots of family.

Then Joe and I took a roadtrip to Winnipeg.
Wilf and Teri with her son Mark (pictures) and the whole family greeted us.

Whitefish projects keep us busy.
Too many projects to show.
I went to see works by Carrivaggio and His Followers in Rome.
August: Gary and his daughter Samantha
Nov: We went with Jon to stay at Canal Park Lodge
In late October our kitchen got disassembled.
Wallpaper -gone. Textured ceiling - gone.
The glass doors got cut into shelves for new cabinets.

In December we had the kitchen walls ready for drywall.
Check the emerald green floor that was hidden under the other... all gone now
 
Dec: Gad went with Mike to stay with Ken at his place in Nicaragua.
He had a great time seeing the sights and trying out surfing.
