Family Album 2006

Tamara has a home in Kelowna.

She is a relative from Linda's mother's side.

Here is a sneak peek at one of Linda's newer works.

This and others went on exhibit at the Thunder Bay Art Gallery March 10 to 26.

This is a picture of Uncle John, Linda's godfather, taken in Winnipeg in 1953.

Uncle John passed away in February of this year.

Joe flew in from Vancouver Island to attend the funeral.

This is an 18" x 24" drawing titled
Station Wagon. Mother is waving goodbye to some relatives from Winnipeg.

It won the 2006 LU Alumni Award at the juried show. It is now in their permanent collection.

2006 Matrix aka the newest member of the family.

David put custom tail lights on.
They look great.

When he stopped driving it long enough to take a picture... he parked on the lawn. : )

I finally threw out this unfinished quilt I had started decades ago! Demin and printed corduroy. It was never going to be finished.

This is part of the fabric purge. I need to make room to paint.

Art in the living room. Just four of these take up the entire wall.
While they are oxyidizing, I have time to consider pricing.
After this posting, I got the solo show at Magnus.

In August the Imperial Lemon Daylily sold. The customer spotted it in the backroom before my dealer had a chance to hang it on the wall. I had it photographed to make reproduction prints available.

May in the garden. The vine bed in the background is the the newest feature of the garden. There are five of them, one at each fencepost.
Happy Birthday Dad!
and so he parties....
... and everyone had fun.

Way to go Tamara!

Hey Denise!
So much fun to go for a walk in the woods. The cliff at the end has a rewarding view of Whitefish Lake.
Notice Mike's fine balancing rock in the foreground.

Denise and Michael were visiting in September.

Les and Pat came to visit in October.

Pat had not been back to Thunder Bay in 30 years.
We had lots of fun.

We should go visit them in BC sometime.

Looked at a studio space beside the Hoito.

Unfortunately, it was not right, (too small, no ventilation, only south light), but I liked the location.
