In 2004 we dug up the side garden and fixed the soil.
It was very densely compacted with lots of rock.
The plants are happy in their new soil.

It took days to sift the gravel out of the soil and make it healthy. The lawn was crushed and sun burnt after this.

Moody Roots is the name of the gardening firm that helped improve the bed.

Lori's crew worked very hard to get the job done.

We had fun.
We ended up making a rock garden with most of these rocks. They all came out of the side bed.
The garden looks like this far too much of the time.
